Well, there is a funny story behind this boat. I really went to see it because of the vintage Gator trailer, but this Thompson is in good structural shape that I had to save it and will some day restore it. As a kid, my father salvaged a Thompson boat & I can always remember being fascinated by the way it was built with the screws & nuts.

I just love the lines and the "clipper" bow. She will need lots of cosmetics but that's something I enjoy doing. Her name is "Happiness" because of the original Thompson literature, and the many happy memories I have of Thompsons from my younger days.
